All through April 2020, 50% of proceeds from sales of “Collisions” were donated to an Immigrant Worker Safety Fund set up by the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON).
Without paid sick time leave, remote work capability, health care, access to jobs, and financial security, migrants are uniquely vulnerable, and the Immigrant Safety Fund might be the only lifeline for thousands of people most at risk in our communities.
Please donate to this fund if you can!
This community fund will go directly to pay for bonds and assist with family expenses, including necessities like transportation to the detention facility, and costs for phone calls with loved ones who are detained.
We learned about this fund through our partnership with Dolores Street Community Services on our SF Indie screening. They are doing great work with immigrant families – you can also donate to them!
